A blog for Mary S. Contemplating all things, all colors, all people, all thoughts there are to think.

July 14, 2019
I wrote this poem back in 2010. It came up in my Facebook memory feed this morning.

Contemplating a world without dragons.
July 15, 2010.

A world without dragons is not for me.
If we didn't have dragons, where would we be?
Dragons delight us, they awaken our senses.
The thought of dragons makes us drop all pretenses.
When our imagination soars with the dragons it gives us hope for the future.
- poem of the day. By Me.

It is my fond hope this tome (blog) will one day take its place next to illustrious tomes like My Favorite Bath-time Gurgles and Ode to the Lump of Green Putty I Found in my Armpit One Midsummer Morning. And if you get any of those references, you are definitely my people.
